The White Cliffs of Shoalhaven Heads

Well, not quite - but have you popped down to see the amount of sand that’s been scoured from the beach yet?

My guess it was during the very high tides on 23rd & 24th of this month (both were over 2 metres). It will be interesting to see what happens if we get a king tide and high river levels during winter this year as the gap between the river and the sea is getting to within a few metres now at high tide! Here’s some photos -
