speedOnce in a while you find an amazing plugin that just does what it says - Javascript to Footer is one. For the non-technical readers, javascript is special code that most websites use these days. Unfortunately if a site has several of them to load, they tend to slow page loading times down dramatically because no other page elements like text or images cannot be downloaded until the scripts have finished.

This clever little plugin simply moves the javascripts down to the footer so that they can load AFTER the main site has been displayed.

Seems to work fine on the site so far, but if anyone notices something has broken - please do let me know!

I did a site speed comparison and it’s actually around the same number of seconds to load a page as before - BUT it appears to load a lot quicker because the content (ie images, text etc) appears nearly straightaway and the javascripts load afterwards - which you don’t actually see. It’s one clever plugin though for sure!
