Well, the website is now officially 'online' at last.

I have notified all the registered users by email, hopefully I haven't missed any, but if you haven't been contacted please just register again. The process is simpler than before as you can register yourself from the link on all pages (just click on the sign-up link under the login area) and a confirmation email with your login details will be sent to you. Please be patient as while the register process is automatic, all requests are manually checked before approved, but this should only take a few hours at most.

If you believe that our village should have a thriving community website, then please support it - there are some ideas on the FAQ page. Some involve money - site sponsorship is still only $60 a year and if you have a business, advertising doesn't come any cheaper than that! - some involve contributing articles to the site - and even something as simple as referring the site to a friend is much appreciated.

On an aside about sponsorship - I will be promoting the website in as many areas as I can for free (or as cheaply as I can get!) in the form of email mailouts, ads in the Heads News etc but I plan to put a large sign up on the shops at the corner of Shoalhaven Heads Rd and Woolstencraft St as well. This won't be cheap, so any sponsors that sign up soon will know where their fees will be going towards!
