unexpectedvisitorWe had an unexpected visitor this evening at the Jerry Bailey Oval - a Navy Sea King helicopter made a landing on our local playing field to check a possible fuel leak apparently.

After checking things over (and leaving most of the crew behind to travel back to Albatross by car!) the chopper was pronounced fit to fly and took off after sunset as you can see below.

Gave the locals something to watch besides the telly (the sandflies had a feast too..) and the spectacle was enjoyed by all.

A pity they couldn’t have taken off just a little earlier as the light was getting very low for the camera to take a decent video!
