A trap that I often tend to fall into whenever I create a new site is to add too many 'wow' features. I may be starting to get close to the edge with this one!

'Content is King' is the old adage that I tell my customers who want a website and I should really try harder to remember it myself. The reason that visitors to sites come back for more is simple - content.

They can find online TV channels and videos for themselves but they come here for information relating to the community that they live in, to locate local services and businesses and to read articles written by other members of their community. Simple isn't it? I'll have to try harder!

I've been asking around and a few people seem positive on the idea of penning some articles for here - I'll have to take the next step and start 'hassling' my own customers. I meet an amazing variety of interesting people every month here and they come from diverse backgrounds and have diverse interests. Let's see if some of them have a story to tell.
