The White Cliffs of Shoalhaven Heads

Success Finally! At the Monday 17th April council meeting (attended by 25+ residents mostly in RED) the general manager was instructed to take all legal steps necessary to urgently address the unacceptable risks to the community brought by the current state of the Australian Postal Institute site at Shoalhaven Heads.

If you have any information or photos about our village in the early years, the heritage group has a project to produce a book on Shoalhaven Heads and would love any contributions. 'We'd like any photos of what it was like living here - even everyday things, like pumping water from a bore, hanging washing on lines between trees etc. It will be especially interesting to people who did not live through that time. We would especially like any photos or information on what it was like living through the Depession and war time here'
