My guess it was during the very high tides on 23rd & 24th of this month (both were over 2 metres). It will be interesting to see what happens if we get a king tide and high river levels during winter this year as the gap between the river and the sea is getting to within a few metres now at high tide! This gallery is some taken by me around 2005 - 2006 at different times of the year that shows how different the ‘Heads can look from season to season. That’s about all the local scenery shots I have at present, but again - if you have some to share, especially of other than the beach and river - please do contact me and I can arrange to either get them from you as an email attachment or I could scan the originals if they are printed.
This next gallery is some of the beautiful images taken by one of our local photographers, Shaun Edenden.
This first gallery is of some of the best ‘Heads photos that I’ve taken over the last few years with my trusty (but aging) Olympus UZ750 digital.
If you have some photos please do get in touch with me and I’ll add them to the growing collection. It would be great especially to have some photos taken a few years ago.
