Sally asks: How can I clean our stainless steel kettle and toaster?
We’ve used proprietary stainless steel cleaners but they often won’t clean badly marked areas.

Auntie Flo: To clean smudge marks off stainless steel appliances, make up a paste of Baking (bicarbonate) of soda with water and rub over the spots. Then wipe off with clean water & dry. To maintain a nice streak free finish, try Windex on a paper towel.
