Well, 'D-Day' is nearly here and I'll be putting the diversion up on the old site tomorrow.

Last week I finally had enough of the dramas with our old web hosting company, Deasoft. My experience with them over the last 12 months has been difficult. I wanted to continue with them (well, I think it's really a him rather than a them, but that shouldn't mean a better or worse service) as I like to support small businesses that strive to provide good service at a good price. Deasoft certainly has competitive pricing but I needed more reliability from our host, especially as I use the same company for customer's websites and support hasn't been as good as I had hoped.

So anyway, we are now hosted by GD Webhosting and are on Australian-based servers instead of U.S-based, so page loading speed has improved very noticeably. Support so far has been excellent and I hope that this will continue.

Features added to the site since the last update are - Photo Galleries, Site Map (you can see this if you click on the Pages button) and the Event Calendar.
